There has been some controversy over whether or not Tojo would be a good "trail dog" (for example, on the Appalachian Trail). Today Tojo took a hike to the top of East Rock and did an admirable job going up; however, on the way down, his trademark "pug flop" was in evidence after a mere mile of walking. The final verdict is that Tojo is not a trail dog, after all. He's still very adorable, though.

Tojo in East Rock Park
There has been some controversy over whether or not Tojo would be a good "trail dog" (for example, on the Appalachian Trail). I'd totally want Tojo with me on the Appalachian Trail.
Tojo wishes to live a life of leisure ... but would be more than happy to accompany you on the trails, provided - of course - that you carry him on your back in a little specially designed pug hiking pack.
Just exactly how long has Tojo been in East Rock Park? I'm concerned for his safety/well-being/etc.
